讲座题目：3D微观多层结构接触模拟及其跨学科研究与应用

主讲人简介：Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Southern University. His field is interfacial mechanics modeling and design, including contact mechanics of rough layered micro/nano structures; solid-fluid interaction; rough surface/surface pattern characterization and modeling (hydrophilc and hydrophobic); smart adhesion and scaling laws in tribology。The applications are found in micro/nano devices (gears, pumps, etc); micro/nano manufacturing processes; biological/biomedical studies. The scope of the research includes the development of analytical and numerical computational models, the development of prototypes and instrumentation techniques to acquire research data for fundamental understanding.
