主讲人简介：Hayo Reinders is Professor of Education at Unitec in New Zealand and Director of the doctoral programme at Anaheim University in the US, and a passionate believer in the power of out-of-class learning. His interests ofresearch include innovation in education, the role of technology, learner autonomy and self-access, teacher education and second language acquisition. Up to now, he has had more than 20 books and more than 100 papers published on a wide variety of topics. His most recent

books are Innovation in Language Learning Teaching: The case of China Contemporary task-based Language Teaching in Asia. He is also a guest editor of 5 internationals journals.

新西兰国立理工学院Hayo Reinders教授来我校讲座

6月12日下午，外国语学院邀请新西兰国立理工学院的教育学教授Hayo Reinders在图文信息中心第四报告厅举办了题为“The Internet of Things and Its Implications for Language Education & Research”的学术讲座。讲座由张冰天副院长主持，刘晓民副院长和外国语学院的师生及研究生代表等参加了讲座。

Hayo Reinders 教授以前瞻性高科技产品对教育的影响为出发点，结合具体的教学案列，启发老师们开拓英语教学的新思路。他论证了AR产品、VR产品、人体芯片、实时翻译耳机等高科技电子产品在教育中使用的可行性，并将“社会性互动教学”理念进入英语课堂，以触发学生学习英语的积极性。

参加讲座的师生就感兴趣的话题与Hayo Reinders 教授展开了进一步的讨论。例如，如何培养教师的教学创造力、如何引导学生从网络游戏中学习英语、如何正确看待高科技影响下翻译专业的就业前景等问题。

本次讲座是外国语学院2018年系列学术讲座之一，旨在提升教师的教科研水平、拓宽学生的视野、促进中外文化交流，以更好地服务于国际化发展战略。
